I used the Choate Ultimate Sniper stock with my Savage 10FP at a 1000 yard school. It provides extremely good accuracy - up to the gun's potential in my opinion. However, in prone position I found the ergonomics of the squared recess behind the forestock poor. After a lot of shooting my knuckles were bruising up even through a shooting glove. The cheekpiece was also underwhelming and the tallest is too short for a big glass with biased mounts for long range. I had to tape a big section of foam pipe insulation on it.
The following year, liking the contiguous v-block bed for accuracy, I got Choate's Ultimate Varmint stock and put a conventional target shooter's aluminum hand rest on its forward rail. That ended the knuckle bruising. The cheekpiece was just as inadequate on this model (same one). I wound up buying an adjustable cheekpiece mount from O.K. Weber to install and made my own platform to fit my face. The rifle is now user friendly to me.
Be aware this kind of customizing is not uncommon to have to undertake with any brand of stock you fit. The Choates are heavy and steady, but they are molded plastic and will not look as refined as the more expensive composite layups. The thermoplastic also will not be so paint friendly.
