Chl question [ texas ]

When I usually buy my guns, I have a delay of about 3 days before I can get them.
Not sure what causes the delay , since I'm not a felon, don't owe child support, not on parole or probation etc ....
My wife & I are wanting to take the chl class this month.
My question is , would this hinder me [ the delay ] in taking a chl class in anyway ?

Nope. NICS checks have nothing to do with CHL's or CHL training courses.
