This was posted in shotguns and got kinda hairy.

What's everyone's thought on purchasing copies of famous American (or other) firearms that were made by the Chinese or other communist/socialist governments?

And how does that compare to purchasing cars, appliances, or clothing made by those same governments?

Just wanted to hear everyones opinion.
 
The real issue is that many of these arms companies (like norinco) are owned by the chinese army, which takes the profits to equip themselves.
