Can't tell the stamping.. probably not legit but rather Chinese copies?
Gov. There probably producing rip offs in a factory.

Tried to look up the Taurus
http://www.taurususa.com/find-model.cfm

SN not found.. but I suppose that's not definitive.. I guess if it was a legit contract gun maybe it wouldn't be in the database.

Definitely looks like the CT9/40 and has the right logo. Certainly has a better magazine(and stock)... Would've been nice to have seen THOSE in the states :(

The Taurus pistol has the right shape, but the photo is too blurry to tell which model.

I think the Taurus is a 24/7 g2 compact..
Kinda hard to be sure though all of Taurus new pistols look the same these days.

Apparently, The Peoples' Democratic Semiautomatic Pistol isn't up to the task?

Is that not what the one on the table labeled "QSZ92" is? I'm not sure what the set up is here. Some type of trials or something? Would be better with a little context I think.

Joe, they really do. Initially I was gonna say that looked like a PT709, but the handgrip looks a little bit to thick.

Dakota, I agree. I thought what with the gooberment of China being so controlling that the SWAT teams choices of weapons would not be viewable to the public.

I don't feel that their SWAT teams would be front line troops but if they were, I think they might bring rifles ;)

Yea in a war between China and North Korea if it's down to handguns something has gone terribly wrong.

Constantine, technically speaking that's a pistol caliber carbine. Though I suppose that could still be potentially classified as a rifle depending on where you find your definition. Personally I think they are separate enough to warrant a distinction, but YMMV. However both rifles and PCC can be categorized as "long guns"...

Was just looking at their international offerings and if only, IF ONLY, they had produced those high cap mags and stocks in America. :'(
It saddens me so greatly.

Taurus should be original, Some units in China use Taurus firearms as shown.
While the gun "NP22" on the table is a Chinese copy of the P226
