But, I thought reparations was the process where the damaged party received compensation from the damage giver(??).
Maybe I'm all wet on that.
I still fail to understand why I'm expected to pay for a guilt trip that I'm not taking!!
I've an ancestor who fought in the CW, on the Union side, not that that matters.
He was also a POW in Tyler TX. Didn't he already pay enough for this?? WTF!!!
If they get their "reparations", then I expect to be paid back for his trying to save their a$$e$ while a soldier...

"Reparations are payable when a crime against humanity has been committed by one people against another," said Rep. Bobby Rush, a co-sponsor of the Conyers bill. "Those who commit a crime against humanity must pay."

And I can only assume what he's saying then, is that they're going after the survivors of the African tribesman who raided their villages, and sold their ancestors to the Portugese slavers. The original enactors of the sin of slavery.

The most foolish mistake we could make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms; history shows that all conquerers who have allowed their subjected people to carry arms have prepared their own fall.
