My local dealer is selling them for $159.00. The price is interesting. I was looking for input from you guys that own or have owned them. Are they good shooters? Are they reliable? I know it is not an exspensive gun and I'm not looking for that just a good cheap shooting gun.

It appears to be the same or very similar to a Cimarron plinkerton. As NF45 said they are all pot-metal and very cheaply made. I have had a pot-metal plinkerton for several years now and its held up to plinking and tackle box duty fairly well eating mostly 22mags. If you can afford the extra $20 go with a Heritage Rough Rider you will get more out of your money that way. Good used 22 revolvers generally go for less then $150 which is another option.

Mine wore out QUICK!

I put about 1900 rounds through mine and Cylinder rotation, timing and intermittent firing of individual chambers happened! Basic H/V .22 LR's made the gun fall apart inside!
Spend a few more bucks and buy a Ruger.
The Ghiappia is plain pot metal junk!

I have a ruger single six, ruger bearcat and a heritage roughrider but was just thinking maybe 159 bucks for a new pistol may not be a bad deal...oh well.

As the saying goes you get what you pay for. I would get a top of the line revolver, like a Ruger or Smith & Wesson. If you want to save money get a used version of one of these guns, you will be better off.
