Chiappa 1892. Any good?

Italian lever guns seem to have a good reputation. And I'm assuming it'd be higher quality than the Rossi one. Is this correct?

The Chiappas are a replica rather than a clone. They use the same screws and screw pitch used in the originals, flat springs where appropriate, and are actually quite nicely made (other than the fact that their wood is just so-so). You can take Chiappa parts and install them on original Winchester 92s and they fit pretty close.

The Rossis, in contrast, use metric threads, coil springs, and a variety of methods to get a rifle that kinda sorta looks a little like a Winchester. Maybe if you squint just right or have dust in your eye you would think it looked a little like an original.

This is not meant to detract from the Rossis or praise the Chiappas. Either is a stout little rifle, but the Chiappas are very close to the real deal.

(I added a Marble tang sight ...exsisting tang holes/no gun modification req'd)
