I don't know Bush, so I won't argue whether or not he is a dunderhead. However, I don't believe in judging someone's fitness for the office due to a debate performance. What aspect of the Presidency does a debate measure? I can think of only one, the ability to operate under pressure. A president will need charm, in order to get things done. S/He will need to be able to get good, competent people to handle the departments and advise him on the many issues. S/He will need to inspire people on occasion. Again, I don't know what Bush's IQ is, I'm just saying a debate isn't really the most useful tool for selecting a president IMHO, YMMV, other lawyer talk

As for Gore, well, uhhh, just YUCK.
