CHEAPER THAN DIRT STOPPED SELLING FIREARMS????
This is TRUE!!! Go to their web site and click on any gun. It states in Red letters that Cheaperthandirt does not sell firearms!!!

BOYCOTT ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!!

I know I won't buy another thing from them!!!!!!

This may well not be an anti-gun policy as much as a cover your a$$ policy.

No company wants to be fingered by a bloodthirsty news media as the company that sold a gun to a mass murderer.

Why is it that a company that sells firearms but then stops is "anti-gun" and should be boycotted while a company that sells otherwise identical products but no firearms, ever, is NOT anti-gun?

All this boycott everybody who blinks funny is really silly. No wonder legitimate boycotts don't work. There's probably not a company in America that's NOT under some boycott every single day.

WOW Its hard to believe this is happening, cheaper than dirt not selling guns, Dick's sporting goods quit selling guns, discovery channel taking gun shows off the air. You would think people that are familiar with guns and sell guns would have the sense to know guns are not responsible for these tragedies, its the people that use the gun as a tool to commit these crimes.

In my area guns are selling like hotcakes, people waiting in line to fill out back ground checks, buying ammo like it is going out of style.

Oh lord, stop the frigging drama.

The LAST thing we should be doing right now is getting worked up about everything that is happening and screaming boycott this and boycott that. This is going to be a very long, tough road for gun owners.

Instead of screeching like a rabid howler monkey, put your energy to PRODUCTIVE uses.

Closed.

Well, I suspect they do realize that, but folks are running on a lot of emotion right now. So, I suspect these folks are making what they feel is a good business decision which they feel will allow them to maintain a positive impression with the general public.

There are a few problems with the OP.

  1. You need to put quotes in quotes ("We are reviewing our policy internally") so we know who the actual speaker is.
  2. You never need more than one exclamation point or question mark at the end of a sentence.
  3. Typing in all-caps is considered poor form.
  4. There is already a thread running on this very subject here.
