Cheap/custom boot grips...

I saw this done somewhere and gave it a whirl.....pretty cool.
I chose Speer 357 ammo for the victim because its whats in the little Lady most of the time...

I did the same with my EDC 640

I went with the 3-finger grips from their 94/605 guns. I hate to say it, but I've not found a better combination for my hand. For a 'boot grip', I went with a cut-down UM's grip instead. Did you have to remove the grip-frame's locating pin to get them on?

Check this out.....

Here's my Taurus mod 605 with mod 85 stock boot grips installed. I dumped the longer grips found on the 605 and have shot with the smaller grips with no apparent loss of control, comfort, or accuracy. AND it makes the gun a lot smaller/easier to conceal. Price? I think about $11-15.

I found a set of Taurus 85 boots in a box at a local gun store for 3$..and brought them home. I didnt even think Id use them...but when I remembered someone knocking the Taurus emblem out and doing the 357 thing...I thought why not..turned out ok.
Ive bot bantams for it...but thought this was a little bit of a twist.

And yes I removed the pin....
