I am interested in these snubbies, but want to know what is available with respect to grip options. The one thing I really like about the J frames is the numerous aftermarket pieces/parts out there. Best and thanks.
www.pachmayr.com sells the rubber "Compac", which is what mine wears. Excellent feel, slightly on the large size.
http://www.eaglegrips.com/secretservice.htm has the "Secret Service", in wood. This is an extremely compact grip for concealment over shooting comfort. It's listed for the Charter Bulldog but I'm 90% sure the Bulldog and Undercover (and off-duty) share the same grip frame. Eagle should know for sure, I'd check just in case I'm suffering a brainfart
I think Eagle also makes larger non-rubber grips for Charters.
About the only thing not available is a super-compact rubber grip; Packmayr's smaller open-backstrap rubber grips aren't published as available for Charters. You could call and confirm though, they may have small amounts around, and they USED to make them - I've seen old stock still on store shelves.
