Charlton Heston to Campaign in Wisconsin Oct. 30
Heston, LaPierre, Baker to Urge NRA Members to "Vote Freedom First" on Election Day
Legendary actor, civil rights activist and NRA President Charlton Heston will campaign in Green Bay and Waukesha, Wisconsin to urge NRA members to "Vote Freedom First" on Election Day. Heston will appear at NRA Member Get-Out-The-Vote rallies, along with NRA executive vice president Wayne LaPierre and NRA chief lobbyist James J. Baker.
"This is the most important election in my lifetime," Heston said, "and every NRA member in Wisconsin should turn out at the polls and cast their ballot to preserve our great freedom."
NRA membership in Wisconsin has grown by more than 30,000 new members over the last year and now stands at an all-time high of 110,000. Nationwide, the NRA has gained over 1 million new members in the last year to its present record of 4.2 million.
Members of the news media are invited to cover the rallies. Heston, LaPierre and Baker will be available for brief interviews immediately following each event.

On November 1, Heston will appear in Knoxville and Nashville, TN and campaign in Arkansas on November 2. Leading up to Election Day, Heston, LaPierre and Baker will appear at NRA rallies to encourage members to vote in dozens of cities nationwide.
