for my late christmas my friend gave me a Charles Daly autoshotgun.

it has a 26in barrel. i have shot about 100shots thru it and it runs fine. i will only use it for dove(paloma).

should i shoot more out of it to see if it fails? i have read that they are junk, but it seems fine to me maybe i need to shot it more?
 
Is it one of the old 4 shot ones marked "exc distributor_ _ outdoor sports HQ"? If so, I have one like it. My gun, and perhaps yours, was imported in the 80's by a different company using the charles daly name. They work fine, especially with high brass, but don't expect anybody to have parts for it.

If on the other hand its a new one, I don't know much about those, other than they are solid guns that should work fine.

FirstFreedom i don't give guns i only recieve them. if you have any guns you don't want pm i will gladly except.:D
 
I would kindly thank your friend..then sell it as fast as you can. I've seen nothing but trouble from them from several friends in the duck blind. None made it through a full season.
