Charles Daly Price

I'm interested in a Charles Daly 1873, .357/.38Spl. SS, 4" Brl. The CD website lists them for $659.00. I'm assuming that is MSRP. I've looked all over for a retail price, but can't find a site that sells them.

Does anyone know what this S/A retails for, so I can keep my dealer honest??? ;)

There are two (NIB) currently available on GunBroker.Com for a "buy it now" price of $475; I would expect they could be had for $435 - $460 if one bid and waited.

From my asking around, $525.00 OTD. Be aware that KBI was also rebadging Armi San Marcos REJECTS as Liberty revolvers. People have confused these POJ single actions with Charles Daly as KBI is the importer of both. The new Charles Daly stainless single action is manufactured in Italy by Pietta.

The Italian or PI manufacturers and Spanish even build according to the importers specifications. Piettas from EMF are different in terms of quality, fit, finish and function than a Charles Daly. EMF sells for less. You can expect to get what you pay for. Ubertis are imported by Stoeger and Cimmaron Arms. Cimmaron has a higher standard of external finish, they look better. There are differences.

I hope you work a deal. I am still talking with FFLs myself. I am looking at stainless myself. A fellow I know has some. He really speaks highly of his. Accurate with 250 LFNs in 45 Long Colt.
