Charles Daly autoloaders

Anyone know much about these shotguns? They seem pretty inexpensive for a gas operated shotgun.
I have a friend who in interested in getting one for himself the one with the wood stock at Wal-mart for $329.00.
I told him he would probably be better with a used 1100 or an 1187, but his point is why go used when you can get a brand new one with a lifetime warranty.

a friend bought one at walmart. hes been pretty happy w/ it, all things considered. my friend said the same thing about buying a used gun.
the daly points and balances well and the trigger is better than my benelli nova (less creep), not that thats too important but its nice anyway.
he did have to send the gun back when it started going full auto. actually it would just shoot twice (we only loaded 2 rounds at a time - skeet shooting) for each pull of the trigger. daly paid shipping each way and fixed it (we think).
still, hes happy w/ it and would buy it again. me, im as interested in quality as performance so id stick w/ other guns. to each his own.

I had a 20ga model----it was light weight and handled pretty well.

I didn't use it that much and it always functioned correctly when I used it----I traded it off for something I wanted more---I just can't recall what it was that I wanted more----lol.

Nothing wrong with Daly's----but I didn't use it that much either.

Hey guys with the gun being so light does it tend to have more kick than any other gas operated 12ga.
