Hello,
First time poster long time reader. I own a CD Feild Tactical. Smooth Bore 5 capacity mag tube plus one in chamber. 18.5 Inch barrel for home defense. I have shot literally everything from special home defense ammo to bird shot to slugs to buck shot through this thing with no issues at all simply the perfect home defense shotgun in my opinion. Never a mis fire never a failure to feed. I take good care of my gear but still this gun is excellent.

The reason for my post is difficulty in fiding accessories for this gun. I would love a forward grip and tactical butt stock but they don't seem to exist. I can buy barrel mounted lights however I am having difficulty finding stock and forend accessories.

Does anyone have expirence with aftermarket accessories or mods to this shotgun?
Thanks in advance, Vermonter

Charles Daly unfortunately went out of business a little while ago. A shame, Mike Kassner is a good guy who really cared about his customers and their lineup was getting better and better.

Greetings Vermonter, and welcome aboard

Happy to hear you're getting good performance from your CD, it's always sad to learn when they become orphaned. You've pretty much hit the nail squarely on the head: other than the generic stuff, like light holders and rail clamps, most of the model specific tactical gear is aimed at the Remington and Mossberg platforms.

Gentelmen,
Thanks for the replys. At least I got a great deal on the weapon under $200. That being said I wonder if anyone has ever custom fit someting meant for a mossberg or rem. Some of the ATI stuff looks like it might fit.

Plus I do believe CD themselves used to sell a version of my gun with a tactical stock and a forend grip. I wonder if there would be a place to find replacments of those that will fit my gun.

Anybody have any expirence with stuff that shouldn't fit one of these actually fitting it?

Thanks, Vermonter

Charles Daly may have stopped making/importing guns but the warrenty service is still there. Daly may have went under but the parent co. is still there and doing fine.

Jag,
I have tried the 800 numbers I have been able to scrounge up and the CD website no longer seems to exist. Who is this parent company you speak of?

Thanks, Vermonter
