Charger Take Down Pistol

Picked up a new Ruger (10/22) Charger Take Down pistol. This is a fascinating concept that pulls my interest like a magnet. Compact, high capacity, survival gun, and modular possibilities/accessories are endless.

Might pick up some additional fore arms and barrel lengths for future add on.

Maybe a Steve McQueen mares leg type holster?....great backpack gun.

Anyone remember Ruger's 44 magnum carbine?....wish they made that as a take down pistol.

The Charger Take Down. I want it, I want it, I want it.
The green and tan laminated stock. I don't want it, I don't want it, I DON'T WANT IT!!!

Ruger PLEASE, a Stainless Synthetic model to go along with my 10-22. :D:D:D

Looking forward to hearing how well it shoots. If it is anything close to my 10-22 Take Down it will amaze you! :D:D:D

:D
I just got the non-takedown version and shot it for the first time today. It was accurate and fed both 36 grain HV and 40 grain subsonics with no problems. I used the 15-round mag and a couple of 10 rounders with no issues. It played well with a suppressor and I couldn't tell any POI change at short range. The 36 grain HV rounds were definitely supersonic.
Man, I like this little gun.

Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, need to get some sights mounted. Picked up a soft sided case for it....12"X9" that it fits in nicely.

I am glad Ruger is expanding there lineup, I would be in for one of the stainless laminate takedown models when they make one.:D
