Changing sights on Sig p238 . . . Help!

So I've order some truglo sights for my sig p238. Looking on-line for helpful information has been confusing. Some say you must tap the old sight out left to right and others say right to left. Then of course the reverse to put it back in. Other sources say it doesn't matter as the dove tail is not tapered.

Help!?
