Changing FFL after firearm has shipped?

I bought an HK45C from budsgunshop.com, I made the mistake of putting my usual FFL (who apparently will not be able to do the transfer until July) on the order before making sure he'd be able to do the transfer. I just got the email today notifying me that the gun has gone through the original scan through UPS. I was able to change FFL on the website but I can't tell if the order has been changed at all. Since it's not being delivered to me I can't change it via UPS' s website. Can this even be changed at this stage? I've sent an email to buds but I don't know if they'll respond in time.

I believe that if the package has left the sender (Buds), it cannot be diverted. There will be a few delivery attempts then it will be returned to Buds.

On the UPS website it says the package can be resigned to a new destination, but given the content only by the sender. I'm really just asking about buds customer service and/or if anyone has had a similar issues. This was stupid on my part.

Contact Buds and ask them if they can call UPS and do an intercept on it and then ship it to the other address.

I work at UPS so I know if an intercept is placed on a box as soon as anyone scans the package the scanner starts screaming and it's easy to catch. It should be scanned at every stop along its way except possibly the final one. But if a delivery attempt is made and refused you should be able to still redirect it if Buds is willing to do so before it gets shipped back to sender.

It may also be possible that it will just deliver to your FFL and he can do the transfer come july.
