Changing a trigger kit

My 2" 357 R461 Rossi has a dynamite SA. That being said, how and what kind
of kit can I use to make my DA more like my GP100 which is absolutely smooth.
Yes I can t/i for a S&W or for a Ruger but I actually really like my Rossi. IMHO, this is one of the few weapons that Rossi has made/makes in their entire line.

Last, how difficult is it to install by me? As always, all comments & thoughts are welcome.

Does anyone make aftermarket parts for Rossi?
If not, the original parts can probably benefit from the same procedures as the S&W revolvers they are based on.
Lots of good info for the S&Ws out there.

If you've got a newer J-frame with a frame-mounted firing pin, check out Apex's kit. They make top-notch stuff.

While installation of the springs and FP is pretty straightforward, swapping of springs does nothing for the quality of the action, so it's best done as part of an overall action job. If you're not familiar with the workings of a S&W revolver, then, it (and a good action job) is best left to a gunsmith.

Mr. B,

I appreciate your advice. Always told my wife if I can't fix something using super glue, then forget it. I think I'll take my own and your advice.

Doc, I have done the spring replacement and trigger group polish on my Rugers and Smith's. It makes a difference. It's not hard to do. Like any project use the correct tools and take your time. Just steer clear of the sear. Plenty of YouTube videos out there.

Rossi Trigger Kit

Doc,I've seen these kits installed onS&W revolvers, 1-10 degree of difficulty.Proper tools,good/clear directions, and plentey of PATIENCE! Best Christmas Wishes doc and Cajun:D

Check out Wolf Spring kits. The worked great in my Taurus 85SS and following the video on how to do the replacement t was easy. I liked the video put out by Midway the best. Just be careful, for me the lightest spring produced some light primer strikes but bumping up one notch on the spring fixed it and still left me with a ver nice trigger in both SA&DA.
