I just couldn't let that thread die. It was very interesting to read. I haven't shot anything with my carry gun yet as I have only carried for 5 day now.

Well, after work today I took my new NAA .22 Mag mini-revolver out to the pond to try it out. Took out 6 bullfrogs. On the way back to the house, I came up on a big ol' cottonmouth, which I dispatched with my Ultra Carry. Impressed with both of them, especially the NAA.

Well I hope you ate them.

I am a pretty darn good shot with a Glock offhand, having been shooting them for so many years. I was out shooting my Glock 27 the first day. It was in the desert, at night. It has Trijicons on it. I got it used.
I was shooting at a little dirt hill about 15 yards away when a rat ran up on the hill and over it, then peeked it's head over te hill. I was shooting by the light of my headlights. I could see the reflection of his eyes. I took the opportunity and aimed at him and popped his head. That .40 cal really turned him inside out. It was a pretty good shot with that little gun on my first day of owning it. Gave me a lot of confidence. Don't underestimate those mini-Glocks, they are as accurate as you are with them.
