CFE Pistol

Hodgdon has data for it, both in lead and jacketed bullets, so it may be used, certainly. Their data is for a 10" closed chamber barrel (equivalent to an 8.5" revolver with zero barrel/cylinder gap). Go to Ballistics By The Inch to get a sense of what percentage of velocity the barrel length and barrel/cylinder gap in your actual revolver is likely to cost you.) It looks to me like you should multiply Hodgdon's published numbers by around 0.77. Should come out in the vicinity of 1150 fps for a test barrel. Your real gun may shoot slower.
