Ceramic brake parts lube in an AR10/15

I'd be concerned about the "ceramic solids" in the grease removing metal in some areas. In terms of function, "ceramic solids" sounds an awful lot like "abrasives added".

now if I could just use mobile one synthetic 5w 30 in my rifles that would really simplify things for me! Thats what goes in my engines!:D

"loaded with ceramic solids" I would pass, use a good quality oil, gun lube, engine oil, Tetra grease.

I use a small amount of Tetra grease on the bolt carrier rails and run the bolt wet on my 7.62 AR's.

Lot's of shooters DO use Mobil One oil on their guns. You don't even need permission, just wipe it on.

Others use transmission fluid, or special water based lubes, and in one infamous incident, a well known carbine course instructor used a feminine hygiene ointment.

If it's wet and greasy, it'll do. It only has to last one days shooting of a basic load of ammo, about 300 rounds. Apply as needed.
