Cerakote EDC

I would like to see photos of anyone's Cerakoted pistol that has been their EDC for at least three years and has at least 2,000 rounds down the tube.

I have seen many posts claiming the finish is great if prep work is done correctly, and I have asked for these photos in response in threads before without any being posted. I think 3 years EDC and 2,000 rounds is a reasonable minimum expectation for a firearm finish. A paint over a finish is one thing, but, if it is going to be the actual finish on a firearm, I want it to hold up really well for at least that period bare minimum.

Yes, I know there is no way to check the veracity of posters claims regarding round count and use.

it's been on my list to get the frame on my CZ clone done for the ast two years. someday..... I went to the only local place that did finishes and it ws outrageous, so plan is to hopefully find someone who can simply blast the stripped frame for me, but I worry about legal concerns taking to a body shop or similar. anyway, it'll get done eventually. I too would like to hear more firsthand experience with DIY cera-kote in particular

Having Cerakote properly applied cost as much as properly applying nickel, hard chrome, or nitriding. Why not apply one of these more durable options?
If you want a pink gun, or a dirt-colored gun, then paint is the way to go.
