century customer service?

hello all,
I am doing what I hoped to never do. I am sending a gun back to the manufacturer for replacement. I am just curious if anyone here has ever had to work with century arms customer service and what their experiences were?

well since nobody else has, I'll post my experience. emails were ignores, phone call got the ball rolling. the century rep I talked to was very professional, and although, not overly enthusiastic about dealing with yet another person's problems, was in no way rude or unhelpful. it took about 24 hours to get the waiver info emailed and another after I returned it filled out to get the shipping label but overall response times were pretty reasonable and any follow up questions were answered within hours. so far... so good with Century Arms CS.

I have dealt with century on two occasions and both time there was the outcome I had wanted. I had a C.E.M.T.E. rifle that had improper clearance on the bolt and it was replaced with a good one and once I returned a yugo sks that had a badly rusted bore and it was replaced with the most beautiful sks I have ever seen. so the service in my opinion has been okay.

There have been some issues getting accounts set up with C & R licensees that I'm aware of, but other than that, my personal experiences with them all have been positive and without incident.

I have never had a problem with them and I have sent a few guns back for minor problems.
Always professional and fairly quick to respond.

alright, I've been quoted 4-6 week turn around after they receive the gun and it shipped yesterday so... looks like it'll be a new years present.

Do you not celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah?

of course, it's a day off work and a good meal with family... don't really exchange gifts anymore, got to be too much hassle, my whole family has been slowly phasing out gift exchange for a few years now. cheaper that way.

Cool cool. I was just joking cause I would bet you'll get it back in time for then. A month seems to be the industry norm.
