Center to Prevent Handgun Violence

In the spirit of guerilla(sp?) warfare, I was checking domain names and found that the Center to Prevent Handgun Violence was registered (www.cphv.org) but COM[/b]]www.cphv.COM was not.

Following El Jefe's lead I took the opportunity to make that domain name mine.

I am open to suggestions on how to make it as accessible to those looking for cphv.ORG as possible, as well as educational and graphic content.

I have already got space for the site, and as soon as I am ready to install it you should be able to find it at www.cphv.com.

I'll update as needed.

Thank you!

My, my, my.

If I were a nasty, sneaky type, I would suggest a synopsis of More Guns, Less Crime by John Lott, along with a link to Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble for the purposes of ordering said book.

A link to the Law Enforcement Alliance of America (www.leaa.org) would be nice. Put that intimation of Law Enforcement approval behind 'CPHV'.

Don't put links to the NRA, GOA or JPFO--you want to keep the unsuspecting sheeple buying into what 'CPHV' is puting out for as long as possible.

On the other paw, you could paste a whole bunch of links to NRA, NRA-ILA, GOA, JPFO, LEAA, DC's site, Miss D's site, TFL, AR.15.com, GlockTalk, TacticalForums and Oleg's site; but hide the links behind the type of drivel that the other CPHV site usees for their links... Could be interesting for some little soccer mom to hit the "Click here for information to prevent Handgun violence" and have the link drop her at the TFL front door.

Thank goodness I'm not the sneaky, evil type.

Don't forget the link to Second Amendment Sisters (www.sas-aim.org). Also, a facts section could be neat. Use the HCI or CPHV handbooks to get your headings and supply the data to debunk their 'facts'. (Wasn't someone who posts here working on this?) Regardless, it'd be a worthwhile effort.

On the Second Amendment Sister's link be sure to mark it something like. 'Interested in the Million Mom March?' or 'Women Active in Gun Control' who's to complain that they are active against it. Good job, you gotta know that it must REALLY send the 'tweek-o-meter' off the scale for those anti's.

Monkeyleg,

handguncontrol.com & .org are already owned by Handgun Control Inc.

El Jefe owns handguncontrol.net and has some good success there.

Keep 'em coming!

Someone beat me to the punch. I was standing in the shower the other day (my thinking room), fuming over the latest BS in Massachusetts. I thought "boy I'd like to have a "shadow" site to counter HCI/CPHV.

The domain name i thought of was <A HREF="http://www.nohandguncontrol.org"." TARGET=_blank>www.nohandguncontrol.org".</A> Would that get hits when people do a web search for Handgun Control or Gun Control?

It occurred to me that if you downloaded their first page and then changed the links behind it and some of the text it might be a better attention getter similar to the faux GWBush sight that drew so much atttention.
