CCW: P229 vs. P245

[8200 rpm]

What would you rather carry concealed? P229 in .40 or P245?

(Personally, I'd probably opt for a commander sized 1911 IF I could legally carry, but I'm in Kali. So really, I just need an excuse to rotate out my P229 out of my stale pistol collection.)

So please, between these two which one would you prefer for CCW.

I prefer the P245 to the P229. The P245 is flatter and easier to conceal in my limited experience.

Don't rotate the P229 out of your collection, just add the P245 to it.

Another vote for the Sig P245; for the same
reasons that blades 67 spoke of; and because
I like the bigger hole's of the .45 cal bullet.

As an added bonus P220 magazines will function properly in the P245. Kind of like using 19 magazines in the 26.

I'd go with the P245. 45acp is my pussnal carry preference. Something about those big holes.

I have always liked the 45 ACP, but the P245 is just too small for my hands. The P229 is a good fit to my hands, and in .40 cal it gives 10+1 firepower (12+1 with standard magazines). The P245 is easier to conceal, but the P229 is not that much more difficult.

I'd go with the P245 too.

Why can't you carry the 1911? Surely they passed the Kalifornia drop kick test! I know Kimber did. Didn't any others submit their pistols for abuse?
