Ccw Law?

For those familiar with New York State gun laws: Is ccw restrictions for not being able to use a CCW from another county in New York State in New York City, a county ordinance or part of state gun law - And if violated, therefore a county violation as opposed to a felony gun violation? What prompts the question is an interest in gun law.

You should be able to find it on the city's website. Or, go to google & type in "New York City Conceal Carry Permit" or type in "New York City CCW" or something of that nature and look to see where there may be a link to the city government's website.
