CCW in which states?

I just recently read in a publication that there are only four states remaining that don't allow concealed carry, Nebraska, wisconsin, kansas and Illinois. Last month I read that it was 13 states.
Anyone now which is accurate?
I know my state (Illinois) will be one of the last to issue ccw. if we can oust gov. blagojovich and mayor daly from chicago, that will speed up the process.

as far as i know this is the case.

I'm familiar with right denied. The tan is right restricted. what are the restrictions?

check out the website www.packing.org has info on all the states.

its where i got that from.

restricted could mean non-shall issue...as in you have to prove that you need to carry a gun and usually the permission of local authority (chief of police, mayor etc.) i believe its this way in cali....dont quote me though.

Restricted means someone gets to decide if you should get a permit. The Oakland CA chief of police would not even allow me to have an application because "He doesn't issue permits". Except to the mayor's bodyguard and one of the city council members. I had to go all the way to Nevada to get one.
