I started carrying concealed in GA five years ago. Five years is the renewal cycle in GA.
I renewed at my county courthouse last week and got a little surprise. A folded, copy machine-generated pamphlet was given to me that I didn't receive at the initial issue application (five years ago). It is titled "Your State Firearms Laws". The credit (authorship) at the bottom of the front page was what got my attention. It says "Compiled by NRA INSTITUTE FOR LEGISLATIVE ACTION".
Let's hear one for Georgia!
One more thing. Our Governor (Roy Barnes) is a Democrat. He's liberal on most things and is a social engineer by all indications. He doesn't get all the credit for what the county governments do, but ...
