If you're looking at something like Rosen's ARG, but you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, you might look at Mark Waldon's Sidewinder, as it is built upon the same concept. Mark's leather is much more affordable without sacrificing quality.
I don't have the Sidewinder (yet), but I
can attest to the quality and comfort of Waldon's products. I generally tote my G27 in his Raptor Defense set, and it remains concealed under a light covering garment all day long in complete comfort.
I am presently waiting for another Raptor set for my G30.
Don't let the gun-rag writers fill your head with the idea that a good quality holster should cost $100+, because this is false. I, myself, was even thinking of ordering from Rosen or Sparks before I ran across Waldon.
You can check him out at
www.waldonholsters.com . His web page may not be as purty as Sparks' or Rosen's, but Waldon makes some damn fine holsters.
(By the way, I'll bet this thread gets moved to Gear and Accessories pretty soon.
