S418 Goes to Kansas Governor Today! :D

Received from Senator Phil Journey this afternoon:

SB418 goes to the Governor's desk today. She has ten days to decide
whether to sign or veto it.

Please call or write her to politely ask her to allow the bill to
become law.

Senator Journey

Let's all think Positive and get those letters and phone calls going to the Governor!

Remember, BE NICE! :)

I've read that the govenor has indicated she'll veto the bill, but the state legislature should have enough votes to override. Best of luck to the Kansas folks.:D

Freedom-minded citizens of Kansas should be FLOODING the Governor's office with phone calls and letters encouraging her to let this become law.

Oftentimes legislators who voted for a bill won't vote for overriding a vetoed bill - doesn't look good politically. :barf:

In Ohio, Gov. Taft vowed to veto the CCW law, but in the end, he was given a political out by the FOP who went *neutral* on the issue at the last minute. Taft was feeling the pressure from the grass roots (including a completely legal, openly armed "parade" along the sidewalk outside his residence) and from his own party so he was happy to have an out.

Good luck to all of you. Now get on the phone!
