Saw this web site in fellow TFL'er Hal's signature line. The link was bad, but I went there manually and found a great site. All of us from Ohio should get involved with this group and help the cause.

Ohioans for Concealed Carry, Inc. http://www.ofcc.net

If anyone from any other states with CCW have helped get it passed in your legislature, please post any suggestions and I will happily forward them to OFCC.

Thanks, TBM

Ground Level,
HB 23 which was a Vermont style proposal was tabled in the Spring. The current bill is 165 which is a shall issue bill. The bad news is that traitor Taft the gov has indeed stated his intention to veto any bill that crosses his desk. Some of the supporters of Taft that contributed to his campaign are asking for, and recieving refunds of the money they gave. The prospect for CCW in Ohio is pretty dim. CCW has the support of many LEO's, the State Sherrif's Association, and many of the members of the House. On the down side, reps from the larger counties and cities, Toledo, Youngstown, Dayton, Cleveland, Columbus and Cinci(hate that city and their stupid ban anything auto law). Another good site is http://www.ogca.com for info pertaining to an alternative candidate
for Senate, other than DeWine.

TheBluesMan: Thanks for reading the sig. Like you say, input from anyone in free States, especially those in the law enforcment profession, are needed. Rather than forewarding the mail, I would encourage anyone to contact ofcc direct at the link provided.
