CCI varmit ammo

I have CCI's Varmit shell for my 357 magnum revolvers & know their effective
distance and etc.

My question is CCI model number 3790, 9mm Luger - feet/second/ 1450, #12shell size/ 53 grains/ 10 to a box, is this effective in a Glock 19 gen4 & is it safe to use

Also, is the accuracy similar to the 357 mag Varmint ammo from CCI???
Where we live now in South Florida, we have alligators, snakes and multiple
dangerous Pests and whatever.

If I left any questions out please advise & as always "ALL" responses are appreciated.

Yes, shot shells are safe. However, the shot string files in a spiral out of a rifled barrel and leaves great big holes in the pattern.
Plus Number 12 shot is wee, tiny, small stuff. 50 thou diameter and very likely will not penetrate a gators hide.
CCI doesn't say how many fit in the 9mm capsule, but there are 2265 #12 pellets to an ounce. 53 is 121/1,000ths of an ounce.
Isn't really any better for a .357 either.
