Any ideas on conceal carry holster for sp101 with 4.25 inch barrel? Havent hadmuch luck finding one for that length barrel...its not my full time carry weapon, just want theoption! Any thoughts would be huge help! Kydex, leather, iwb,owb.... thanks!

I think a Kydex holster would be the easiest and quickest route considering you might have to go the custom route. Google "custom kydex holsters" and start reading reviews.

After thought...

A custom leather holster maker who has made a few different items for me just came to mind. Rick Garcia of RG holsters makes some nice gear that is reasonable priced with a quick turn around.

If you don't mind having the barrel sticking out of the bottom of the holster, take a look at the Galco Combat Master. It is listed for the 2 1/2" model but the bottom is open. No safety strap. I would check before purchase just to make sure that it would fit.

I came across this website looking for an outside the waistband holster for an older 6" revolver I got. They had some stuff I didn't see elsewhere. I haven't bought yet, but I booked marked the page for future consideration.

The two I was looking at were the #440 lightning and #570 Woodsman (which both are available for my gun and yours.) Both are made by Triple K Manufacturing. Although Triple K has their own website you can buy from, this website lists them cheaper.

I have bought a few holsters from a place called the holster store. They have a 3 inch SP 101 listed maybe they can do a custom one. Their prices are pretty reasonable.

Get a Simply Rugged Silver Dollar Pancake.

They make one for the SP101's with 4" (and 4.2") barrels. It's a pancake holster but comes with optional IWB straps and just works SUPERB, and looks great. I got mine in natural leather and it smelled wonderful too.

I do so love the smell of good leather myself, but since I've gone the route of the Kangaroo Carry I will never go back. You'd have no problem with a revolver even larger than a four inch SP101.... just my opinion.... I realize it's not for everyone.

I watched the video on the Kangaroo site. Is that the holster used by federal air marshals? It looks like it'd be PERFECT for my bigger revolver when traveling.

Is that the holster used by federal air marshals?

Honestly I don't know, but the name of the one I use is officially the 'Air Marshall' so I suppose it could have been designed with that group in mind. I do know that it will support a full sized revolver or auto well and in the right clothing depending on your build, never be seen until you choose to show it.
