cc handgun laws

just wanted to know if the rumors i hear are true that in Arizona it is open carry. A gun store clerk told me about it just wanted to see if it was true.

There are several states where open carry is lawful. Arizona is one, Idaho is another, as is Wyoming.

I'm sure others will be along in a moment, to expand on this.

Tennessee is open carry in the sense that the lawmakers didn't want people to get charged with brandishing if their gun became exposed so they made the permit simply a Handgun Carry permit. So Open Carry is legal here.

packing.org is your friend (though you should always verify info there with somebody official in your own state). They confirm that Arizona is still an open carry state (as it was when I lived there), and that as long as the weapon is in a holster it can even be partially concealed (only a portion of the holster must be visible).

Montana is also an open carry state, no permit required.. Additionally, we apparently have no state laws concerning vehicles, so you can conceal a weapon anywhere in one without a permit. Permit is, of course, required to conceal on your person.
