So last night I was trimming 20 - 30-06 brass with this trimmer. Now I know the case length is 2.494", and not to go past this size.
When trimming I trimmed... I kep getting different sizes... so I am definitely trimming more than I should and also not being consistent. They are measuring between 2.450"-2.485".
Is there a tip/trick I can do to keep consistent or at least keep them all near the same size? I could only think of not going to much and just do little by little/measuring until the desired length is reached for all of them (keep within same size).
How does one determine the starting length when trimming down the casing? I have plenty of brass so if I have to discard, then no big deal for me. Still learning.
