case prep center ?

Geezuz! On sale at $150. Called 'Platinum' for a reason. Oh, no, I don't use one of 'em. Do all that by hand. snicker.
 
I have one and really like it. I choose it over the Lyman and RCBS models because it trims and it does a pretty good job of it in my experience. It certainly speeds up the reloading process.
 
The FA Platinum is excellent. The RCBS and Hornady are just collecting dust and taking up space now. Having used it for a while now, the price tag on it is inexpensive, especially compared to the others.

Did you replace the cutter blade?

I have a few cutter blades. The original one, I use to cut off large amounts of the neck when making new cases.
 
Rebs, I use the RCBS case prep center, It is the first tool I remove from a drawer when I start.

I have another one that is like new for sale, I will take $85.00 + shipping, that could be close to $15.00.

I have one, it works well and I like it.

I don't like the company (BTI Brands) though. One of their guys came here pretending to be a customer a couple of years ago. (His deleted posts are in that thread linked by Allen) I reported him to the company, hoping he was a "lone wolf" but got no response. I assume that means they endorse such dishonest sales tactics. If I'd known that BEFORE I bought it, I wouldn't have.
 
I bought an older Lyman case prep center used for short money and love it ! Big time saver prepping crimped nato brass.

Clark, thank you for that; there is something that can be said for time in motion. When getting paid it is some times called flat rate. I had 1.400 cases in one batch and 800 in another. The cases were cheap, I paid $14.00 for the 1,400 cases and not much more for the 800 on belted links. Anyhow the thought of picking up each case 4 + times did not appeal to me so I purchased the RCBS case prep center. Remove the crimp, uniform the primer pocket bevel and chamfer the neck and run a running/rotating brush through the neck cut down on the repetitive time wasting task of picking up the case for each task.

I agree the time savings is in not handling the brass more than necessary.

I have the rcbs prep center, and a cts power trimmer.
I pick up a piece of brass in one hand rub a little size wax on it with the same hand, put in press, size, pull out of press with other hand, invert case, trim, then chamfer,debur,brush case neck,invert case,remove primer crimp, brush primer pocket, put in bin.

Brass only handled twice. About 20 seconds or less per case.

It works well for me.
