Ankle holster? You are definitely the man! I for sure would be walking around like Pegleg the Pirate!

I carried mine IWB or stong side holster. No real difference than any other weapon. I will say it was much more comfortable to carry IWB than my G30.

I was considering getting one of these but hell, with only 6+1
why bother? I mean, use your revolver man!
 
I'm using a fobus roto paddle. The roto feature is nice, but this holster is not as well designed as by blade tech paddle that I use for my HKP7. The blade tech can adjust for belt width which makes for a better fit on narrow belts. I also am looking for a Galco Royal Guard IWB for my 36. Have one for my HKP7 that is fabulous.
 
Carry modes

It depends on how I dress. For Christmas dinner, I carried in a Galco PH-286 pocket holster. This weekend, I carried it in a Fobus GL-4 ankle holster. For going out casual, either a Predator Kydex IWB or a Bianchi Black Widow pancake will suffice!!!:) :) :)
 
While I live in ohio I bought a sidearmor iwb kydex holster just in hopes I either move or this state gains some brain cells. They offer different belt loop sizes, as well as j-hooks. And you can get these in different angles. All the attachment points attach with two allen screws so you can order extras and get what fits you perfect. I like this for outside without concerning the neighbors or mail lady. I live in the country with several acres.

I have some other holsters for glocks, and these are made better and fit tighter than anything else I bought. The link is on the glocktalk website, and I have no business interest, just a happy customer.
