Yes, not a problem for me. I know guys who carry at work because they rather be fired than dead by a criminal. They just carry unchambered so no worry about AD/ND or something weird.

I worked as a Veterinary Technician for many years before I hurt my back. If I was still able to do the job I would carry at work everyday, in my scrubs and all. The policy was no guns but my life is worth more to me than my job ever was.

But since I work from home now, yes I do carry at work and everywhere else.:)

I own a horse boarding farm, out of the 14 full time and 6 part time hands I employ, 15 either OC or CC.

Doesn't matter what everyone else does.

Gun Free Zones are a pain to work in. I've been there and done that.

No guns allowed, even in the parking lot. Get caught the cops get called and someone is getting fired. So, I used to leave the gun at the house. Hated to do it. But....

I kept the stops before work and afterwards to an absolute minimum. If I wanted to go out shopping or something, I'd come home get the gun and have at it.

Sucked it up for 14 years, took social security, matching investment fund earnings, and the retirement check and left.

Not a problem, I survived.

I work from home so the option is mine. i did keep one in my car regardless of where i worked in the past. every job i have taken has been a weapons free work place but my personal car is not the workplace regardless of who says it is. if they want in the will have to come and ask me to let them in to it i have nothing to hide but i dont let people into my home so my car has the same rules. should police be involved the awnser is the same as opne cary inspection. i do not consent but i wont stop you.

In a slightly different slant- My county's Sheriffs Office, who has jurisdiction over the issuing of CCWs, says it is ok to carry at work as long as they have a letter on file from the boss/management/responsible person that it is ok for me to carry at work. Since they can issue they can also revoke and I'm not going to buck their rules.

I'm also at work now with a S&W Model 37 in my front pocket.I'm the shop manager, and the owner, and three other employees also carry at work.

I like my job too much,,,

Well let's just say that I like the income it provides.

But hey, wouldn't it be the height of stupidity,,,
To admit on an open forum (where I know a few co-workers hang out),,,
That I am in violation of university policy and am therefore subject to immediate dismissal.

It's not law,,,
It's financial reality,,,
I'm too old to go job hunting again.
