Care, cleaning, loading a 69 cal flintlock hand cannon

Hello Group,

I recently got a very big, flintlock pistol from my brother. The thing is pretty dirty and has a little rust on the outside of the barrel. The flashpan needs some cleaning as does the flash hole. The striker steel, whatever it's called seems kind of smooth to be able to product a spark when struck by the flint.

I'd appreciate any information I can get regarding the care, cleaning and proper loading materials and procedure to get this thing to fire.
