I'm a little late in replying to this due to the overwhelming number of posts on General Discussion. Anyway, I am glad to welcome you as a fellow member. There's no need to thank me. Thank all the fellow gun owners who fight to protect our rights. I'm just doing a small part.

If you ever want to thank me back, if circumstances change for you down the road, don't let the chain of giving end with you.

You can send me a check made out to the NRA for $25 for a one year membership. I'm a volunteer recruiter. The turn-a-round time is only about 3 weeks.

Actually, the fellow on eBay wasn't "selling" them, he was providing the discounted applications and advertising via the auction. I was going to contact him and see how many signed up but it's not listed anymore.

After 6 calls and 3 letters I still am not a 'card carrying' NRA member. I signed up for the Lifetime membership last November and I still haven't received a card. I've made one payment and haven't received a payment notice since. Kinda frustrating when you want to help out :(

Here's another lifer. I even still like Mr. Heston. Sure, the NRA does and says things I disagree with...but they ARE on our side...and they DO have an effect. More would be better, but then again, we could all do more couldn't we?
