Carcano firing pin issues

I have a 91/38 6.5x52 Carcano (Oswald's) that keeps breaking the tips of the firing pins when fired. The primer will have a nice impact dent. Any ideas of how they could be breaking?

I don't know of anything specific to the Carcano that would cause firing pins to break. I would advise not to dry fire the rifle, though.

I would try a bolt swap. The last hole (F/P tip) may be out of alignment, or there may be a piece of junk jammed in there somewhere and it is misaligning the pin. If it does not puncture the primer, I doubt it is a length problem.
