Gentlemen:
The Rock took his new Ar15 from PO to the range to sight it in and see how it would go. I mounted a 40mm BSA red dot sight on it, since this carbine has no iron sights.
I used thermold 30rd mags and Winchester 55gr white box ammo.
Impressions:
Had some feeding problems in the begining, but the 4th and 5th mags went without a hitch. Accuracy was good at 25 yards, for the cheap blasting ammo I was using. I'm thinking about picking up some premium stuff for 100 yards plus. Hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance for some 100 yard stuff. The range that I use is 25 or 50 yards from the line and to use the 100 yard station, all other must close their station and get behind you, which only happens when you manage to get there by yourself.
All in all, I'm happy so far.
