Cap Flash

I have a program on my I-Pad to trigger the camera to take pictures of Lightning
The Lightning flash triggers the shutter and you get a picture of it. I wondered
How this would work on a cap flash. Here is a CCI no. 11 standard cap. It
worked!! Can't wait to try it on my flintlock. And Lightning.

WOW, now I see how chainfires can happen with that much flame coming out around the cap. It would be neat to fire a cap in a revolver with a plexaglass plate about a foot in front of the muzzle and the camera lined up with the barrel. Robert

I capped a shotgun and aimed the muzzle at a mirror so I was looking straight down the bore of the reflected gun.
There's a fair amount of fire in the breech when the hammer falls.

This is very cool.

I would love to see pictures like this from both sides and from the top of a revolver during firing.

That is a really neat program for catching something that happens that fast!
:confused:I wonder if you held the I-pad behind me and a little to one side, if you'd be able to see all 5 balls in flight on the way to the can before the first one even hits?:p:p:D (J/K)

It's appreciated

That is very informative and if possible, could you take a picture of a HotShot nipple compared to a standard nipple. I can think of all kinds of uses for this application. I don't like to make-work for other folks so show us what ever and whenever ..

Be Safe !!!
