Can't get away from those large calibers.

I already had a .45ACP, a 10mm, and a .44Mag. I figured it was time to get a small caliber pistol for my collection.

I was thinking perhaps one of those NAA Guardians would be good. So I stopped in at the local gun shop, "just to have a look." The guy handed me the little .32 and I fiddled with it for a few moments and out of the corner of my eye I saw a cute little Derringer waving to get my attention.

Since the Guardian was asleep anyway, I took a look at the Derringer -- and bought it.

Not sure how it happened. One moment I was all set to get a pleasant little .32, the next moment I was walking out with a pistol that fired either a .45 Long Colt or a .410 shotgun shell. Sigh! I just can't seem to get away from those large calibers.

A noted British authority omce wrote that he believed in .455 caliber revolvers and .45 caliber Colt automatics because their bellets came "pre-expanded."

As much as I love my large calibers, one just can't have enough 22's.
