Cannon Value ?

I have had this cannon for years. It has brass barrel approx 16", 40mm bore
Wt. approx 35-40lbs. No markings. Found old advertisement in bore from:
Cannon Works,Inc. Kansas City, Mo. Want to price it for sale. Any cannon
collectors out there who can help me on this? Any info will be appreciated.

It's actually called a carronade.
I would think it might bring a grand on Ebay.
The carriage is probably not correct, but it's a nice carriage.
 
If you have history on it, it would be worth more. You could probably get a better bang for the buck by donating it to a museum for the tax write off. I know our local military museum would enjoy a piece like that. As they predate the Civil War. And right now our local military museum does not have any items prior to that period. So make some calls to local museums.
