Freight and warranty
In my experience it's only the upper tier companies that volunteer to pay the freight.
Pretty well convinced that the truckers are really the ones who are lighting their cigars with hundreds, while it's us sales reps who are accused of doing so.
As we all know the cost of shipping is crazy high. I have to deal with shipping stuff a lot, both parcel and freight, even tho the lines between those continue to be blurred.
Only time I have had to ship a defective gun was a BP revolver I bought a pricey stainless steel target model. I paid the freight to have a seriously and dangerously defective revolver replaced. I think I even had to pay the freight back to me.
Oh well, at least they did the right thing and replaced it. Surly customer service to boot.
