hello all,
I am about to run out and pick up my TP9SFX and have to say I am pretty much smitten with the entire single action tp9 lineup(already own the SF). I've handled the elite in the store and if there was ever a mid sized semi compact(ala glock 19) that fit my hand perfectly the elite is it. I enjoyed everything about the handgun except for the poor reputation that it had received after release due to it's poor reliability with standard velocity light ammo(115gr and below). I was just wondering if there has been any revamp to the elites in the last several months or if this is still an ongoing concern.

No changes to the Elite yet.

Still Nato/+p stated comments from Century. I was originally planning on getting one, but the Walther rebate came.

The PPQ is what the Elite and Elite-S are copying. Compared to the PPQ, the Canik is worse off in all regards (size, fit, trigger, steel treatment, finish coating, warranty, resale, etc).

Walther has a $100 rebate on the PPQ right now. That makes it cheaper than the Elite. Due to this, no one should be buying an Elite.

other than the fact that I severely dislike the PPQ

That doesn't make much sense.

I'm with wild cat on this one. This is one of the few instances where the superior original costs less than the copy.

the sense is that I aesthetically hate the PPQ, there is zero reason to buy something I do not like. I like the Canik but will not buy it unless they fix the feed issues.
