TORONTO –– Canadian police said Thursday they found several bodies at a house in southern Ontario, and a television station reported up to six people were killed, including four children.
The report by CTV, a national news station, could not be immediately confirmed. "There is more than one person deceased in the house," Staff Sgt. Brent Thomlinson said. He would not provide more details, including the cause of death.
Neighbors in the quiet, tree-lined neighborhood said eight people lived in the house in Kitchener, about 60 miles west of Toronto. The occupants were described as an elderly couple and the family of one of their children – a couple with four young children.
Some neighbors said the grandparents were seen leaving the house with police Thursday morning, after police received a call that someone in the house was injured.
